sally the doll

One sunny morning, Sally the doll woke up feeling very happy! She decided to take a stroll on the exciting and noisy Life Street. Life Street is a fun place to hang out because of all the bumps and unexpected coincidence. Combed her hair and clipped on her beloved heart shapped badge, she was all set to go!

Sally skipped her way down the street and noticed her best friend Teddy! With a joyful voice, she greeted him but Teddy responded in a depressing way. Concerned, Sally sat herself down beside Teddy and found out that Teddy's favorate red balloon was stuck up a tree! Without much hesitation, Sally climbed the tree and got the balloon but on the way down, a sharp branch caught a loose tread on her arm. It tore a hole on her arm and some of her stuffings popped out. Teddy saw the red balloon and was overjoyed! He immideatly grabbed the balloon and took off without showing any concern or gratitude to Sally.

The hole and the ungrateful friend totally ruined her mood but she told herself that these things would not stop her from her stroll on Life Street.

Further down the street some Jack-In-Da-Box where playing baseball. One of them hit the ball a little too hard, sending the ball straight at Sally! The heart shapped badge took the full impact of the blow and broke. Upon seeing this, the Jack-In-Da-Boxes instead of rushing over, laughed and hopped off leaving Sally alone with a broken heart shapped badge.

And that was the last straw. Poor little Sally brusted out crying but things on Life Street carried on without stopping down for that poor little doll. As if things was not bad enough for Sally, it began to rain. Water started sipping into her cotton stuffings. After awhile, the water in her stuffings made her body so heavy that she fell, face flat, on the ground. It was putting so much pressure on her so much so she could not even move anymore.

Torned. Broken. Fallen. Pressed down.
At her lowest point, Sally cried out for someone to help. The mayor of Life Street who was near-by heard her and carried her to his house. At home, the mayor fetched out some treads, glue, a blow dryer, a towel, fixed Sally up and sat her down comfortablly beside a fire place.

Mayor: "Are you alright my little one?"
Sally: "Thank you Mr mayor! You saved me and fixed me up!"
Mayor: "Haha! Silly Child! That is part of my job as the mayor of Life Street!"
Sally: "Are you always around?"
Mayor: "Definately! If you call out to me i will come and fix you right up in a jiffy! Listen my little one, this street is fun but at the same time dangerous. Do not let the dangerous things get hold of you alright?"
Sally: "Geez thanks for your advice Mr mayor! I will always remember to come here if i ever need any fixing again!"
Mayor: "Thats my good little child!"
